Brookdale Golf ClubNestled in the shadow of Mt. Rainier and the beautiful Cascade Mountains, Brookdale Golf Club brings you the best in Northwest golfing. With Clover Creek traversing its gentle slopes and tall evergreen trees that surround the fairways, Brookdale offers nothing less than pure golfing enjoyment.
Located in an open, rural and beautiful area of Tacoma, Washington. Brookdale boasts challenging fairways along with fast greens.
Brookdale Golf Club has been established since 1931 and has seen thousands of golfers play on its greens. Generations of families have long enjoyed this jewel of a course located in this beautiful setting.
Originally founded in 1896 under the title Clayton golf club, Brookdale was renamed upon its move to Lord Lane Failsworth in September 1905, where it was a very popular nine-hole course. There it stayed until 1962 when it moved to its present home in the Woodhouses area of Failsworth, and became a twelve-hole course. Its popularity and membership increased, forcing the purchase of new land to make it an eighteen-hole course, a project completed in 1973.
Measuring 5645 yards, with a par of 68, off the yellow tees, it is not a particularly long course so the real challenge comes from choosing your clubs carefully to avoid overhitting and missing the green. Golfers of all abilities will find this a demanding but ultimately rewarding course.
